Career History:

In March of 1973 I joined the Steve Miller trading group at the Dallas Texas office of Clayton Brokerage Company. My task was to introduce investors to trading international commodities through the London Commodities and Metals exchanges. In December of that same year I transferred to Clayton, Missouri and began work in the Home Office of Clayton Brokerage as a broker and Liaison for the Dallas office which employed over 120 brokers. In September of 1974 I took over the failing Dallas office of Woodstock, Inc., a charter member of the Chicago Mercantile exchange. I managed that office and built it into the largest and by far most profitable office in the Woodstock group, making it possible for the brothers who owned the company to sell it to a British brokerage for more than they had ever dreamed of. It was a good deal for them but not for me so in December of 1981 I came to Dillon Gage, Inc. as a trader and have been there for almost 28 years. Steve Miller owns Dillon Gage and is CEO. He is also the son of my College freshman English professor and my College Physics professor. We have been friends for over 40 years and have experienced, mostly together, the most incredible experiences the markets have provided since the Crash of 1929. It has been an excellent experience. In 1997 I wrote “Tricks of the Futures Trade” for the benefit of my trading partners. Since then there has been such a strong accumulation of successful trading techniques deposited in my arsenal that I began to feel almost compelled to share some of them with other traders who could otherwise struggle for a lifetime to learn what I already know.
